The Counsel of Light (COL) |
Lightwurks, LLC
is now offering live recording of actual classes given by the
Counsel of Light. The COL are beings of light that refer to
themselves as the gardeners of humanity, working to aid in our
growth and evolution.
The Counsel of Light are channeled by very few humans capable of
reaching their extremely high energy. Cherryl Taylor is one such
person who's life work has been to channel the COL in classes,
workshops and private session (very powerful, but unfortunately no
longer available, as Mrs. Taylor has retired).

Becoming
a Self-Realized Being
|
A life-transforming series

Becoming
a Self-Realized Being
Self-realization is a term many use. However, what exactly does
self-realization mean? In this article, I will give a definition
of self-realization and follow with what steps we need to take
to become self-realized.
Self-realization is the state of complete alignment of the
personality self to the Authentic Self.
To understand
this we must have awareness of our connection to Authentic Self,
what the personality self consists of, and what it means to
align the personality self to the Authentic Self.
The Authentic
Self is referred to by different names such as the Higher Self,
the Essential Self, the Soul Self, the Identity, and so on. It
is the Self that comes into body when we come into physicality.
As we master the art of awareness, we become increasingly aware
of this aspect of who we are, that is eternal. In the beginning
of our spiritual quest, the Authentic Self communicates with us
through deep urgings. These urgings motivate us to embark on a
spiritual quest in whatever form that may be for us at the time.
The Authentic Self may also urge us to make life decisions such
as a career change, a relationship change, and so on.
Through
focusing, strengthening and expanding our awareness of both our
personality self and Authentic Self, our communication with the
Authentic Self becomes clearer. When we become more advanced in
the work, the Authentic Self gives us essences, or unstructured
energy impulses for us to align our personality self to.
Therefore, what does it mean to align the personality self?
The
personality self consists of three bodies of structure, the
mental, the emotional and physical bodies. Each body has a
different function and purpose. We also have unstructured bodies
such as the energy body, the intuitive body, the casual body and
so on. However, when aligning to the Authentic Self we must
begin with the three bodies of structure.
In simple
terms, to align means to adjust our thoughts (mental body), our
feelings (emotional body), and actions (physical body) to the
Authentic Self. For example, if you have an urge to do something
that seems more harmonious with your spiritual path you align
the human personality to it. Specifically, you think thoughts
that are in alignment with the urge. You feel feelings that are
in alignment with the urge. Then you take physical actions that
are in alignment with the urge.
The more you
do this the stronger the connection and communication will be
from your Authentic Self. As you advance on your path and are
able to have awareness of direct essences from the Authentic
Self, and you continually align the mental, emotional and
physical bodies to these essences, your structured, personality
self begins to become one with your Authentic Self. As your
personality self aligns to your Authentic Self, your life
manifests in alignment to your Authentic Self. When complete
alignment occurs you are Self-Realized. You realize your
Authentic Self completely in your personality self and in your
life. For those who are on a Toltec Path, this state is called
"burning from the fire within." Your Authentic Self completely
transforms your personality self, sometimes called your human
tonal in total alignment with who you are at your energetic
core.

Light,

Dreaming
|
by David Pawlak

Many of us have heard, that awareness is like a
muscle, in that the more it is used, the stronger it becomes. We
know too, that there are just so many things in our Dream to
distract us, that we rarely find moments when we are conscious
enough to make the effort.
There are many tricks we can use as reminders, to come back to
awareness, but again, the best approach is constant practice.
Like physical exercise however, practice in awareness can be
quite draining to a new participant, and for this reason few
make it past the initial stages. It’s much easier to just let
what is called the “parasite” take over all the resources.
Our physical essence, is a piece of a much
greater whole, however to us, it appears to be everything. This
physical essence, manifested in our three principle physical
bodies, the physical body itself, the emotional body and the
mental body is like a “perception” mechanism, which facilitates
the resolution of emanations from much greater parts of our
existence. The whole of these emanations however are so
mysterious and profound, that a natural mechanism has been
provided to limit our perception to one basic lifetime. The
prime limiting factor is an illusory element called time.
Time
has a wonderful effect, it gives things dimension.
Whereas, our greater whole exists unlimited by
this factor a piece of it manifests as me ( or you ) in
this timeframe, here on this Earth. The time factor is
what seems to produce physicality, because essentially the
greater whole is NOT physical. Try to imagine time as a
magical element which crystallizes an otherwise homogenous
space. The word space is somewhat misleading, because it implies
three dimensions even though it could be considered empty. So
space in this context might have a meaning closer to that
which the hippies coined in the 60’s.
The secret of awareness, is being able to focus
your consciousness on a timeless version of your world. This is
where the greater whole resides.
Let’s go there now!
I am the voice that comes from within. The
computer screen, your eyes and senses are elements woven within
a web of energy that makes up a detailed image of your world. My
voice comes to you through these elements. Where my voice goes,
where it resolves, are closer to me than these things. The
things have great purpose, but overshadow the reality of me,
your dreamer.
The closer you are to me, the more value your
experience has for me, and therefore for you. This manifestation
which is you, is a work of love and joy, and within this work is
a part of me.
Sit
in a comfortable position, preferably outside among more natural
things. Initially with eyes closed, come to my voice.
Come to where I reside. A good point of connection is through
the crown chakra, a point several inches above the upper back of
the head. Sit silently until you can quiet any voices, and rise
up to the point where I reside.
Slowly shift consciousness to your outside
surroundings, while maintaining presence at the crown. Let the
shift take form. Feel where your surroundings reside within.
Open your eyes and work at re-establishing the silence. This
manifestation is yours, positioned in time. Outside of time it
is ours, yours and mine. Feel me. Savour what we are sharing.
As you come back to the world, remember the
space. Recall it throughout your day.
Have a good one,
Love and Light,
Dave

On Femininity: A Course Just For Women |
 |
'
My mom was feminine and loving and we secretly did
things secret behind my step fathers back because he was so
controlling. Anything he wanted done, she just did. My mom was so
weak and I promised myself I wouldn't be like that...'
I hear this type of comment all of the
time: women today understand that they are equal to men, yet they
continue to associate being feminine with being weak.
Women try hard to be strong and independent, and in the
process have unnecessarily cast their femininity aside not
understanding that their very strength lies in their femininity.
On Femininity is a course to teach you to find
your true power in your feminine flow. This course is about
discovering how to work in a spiritual and universal flow which
comes naturally when we are true to our feminine nature.
The strongest women are those that use
the universal laws of gender. Women in their feminine flow are far
stronger, they accomplish things more quickly and efficiently and
they are more powerful in life.
Learn how women in universal flow do things differently:
-
The way we approach spirituality
-
The way we create
-
Our fulfillment comes in different ways
-
How we spend our energy and time is different
-
Increase your ability to have positive impact on your life
-
Learn to be the spiritual female you are, not what society teaches
you to be

Feng Shui: Using Light to Cure

Feng
Shui- A Series on Feng Shui for Beginners
In our last issue
instructions were given to show you how to start to become receptive
to the Feng Shui or the flow of each room in your house. We were
looking for comfort, ambiance and flow. Now we will talk about one
of the strongest cures, lighting.
Natural light is the most beneficial source of light. It is rare
that people have too much light, but if you have too much light or
too direct a light then consider blinds, especially the kind that
are sheer to allow light to come through, softening it. Most
commonly, we all lack light. With space being a rare commodity, most
homes or apartments lack sufficient space and/or windows to allow
enough light to come through and into the home.
Light, namely natural sun light, is vital to our existence. A lack
of sun light causes cabin fever in the winter because our necessity
for ch’i is even stronger than it is for food for our survival. Sun
light charges the energy that we breath and it contributes to our
general health. When natural sun light is not available then the
second best thing we can do is to work with artificial lights.
Lights alone can greatly shift a space. We all know this: as
children, we were afraid in the dark and felt comfortable when the
light, or even just a night light, was on. Lights do several things:
they brighten colors, attract ch’i and guide our attention.
Imitating natural sun light, light impacts us by allowing us to see
more clearly (making things easier on our eyes and our perception),
it warms us up and it also makes us feel better.
Lights are a
useful cure when there is a lack of lighting or when there is
sufficient light.
-
A room with
insufficient light will become lively with additional lighting, of
course. (This may seem obvious, but if you are feeling down or
depressed check to see if you have sufficient light. People
suffering from depression sleep in dark rooms)
-
A soft light,
in a bedroom for instance, will help set a relaxing mood and tone.
-
A spotlight
will help to balance or direct our attention. Museum and art
galleries are aware of this and always place spot lights on art
work and on their prized pieces.
-
A bright light
in an office can encourage sharp thinking and “bright” ideas.
-
A colored light
in a patio can contribute greatly to warming and calming an
evening on a patio or deck.
There are a
variety of light types. Lights range from fluorescents to
full-spectrum lights and small bulbs to halogen bulbs or
chandeliers. The variety of lamps and light fixtures will
contribute to the ambiance and should be chosen carefully.
Determine what
the current mood is in the room you are looking to change and then
go window shopping in a lamp store. Some lamps and light fixtures
will be more obvious as to the mood and energy that they contribute
than others. Clearly, you will bring too much light into a room if
you choose a bright sensor light, generally used outside your home
to scare off intruders. As you work with a room and decide on the
best light, take the purpose of your room into consideration and
then look at:
-
Does natural
sun light come into this room? Does it come in at the time you
want it there? Do you need to supplement the natural light or do
you need to compensate for afternoon shadows? Are there overgrown
trees that need trimming and that currently block your windows?
-
What size lamp
or fixture you want?
-
Do you want to
lift the energy with either a hanging light illuminating from
above or a light fixture that illuminates upward?
-
Do you want to
add a bright light, a colored or a soft light?
-
Are you looking
to light up a dark and stagnant area and does this area call for
bright lights or soft lights?
-
In what corner,
along which wall or next to what furniture do you want to brighten
and bring energy to? Will the light take away from the current
centerpiece and outshine it?
-
Are you
interested in one single lamp/fixture or a couple? Have you
considered track lighting or recessed lighting?
-
Be creative:
Strung Christmas light bulbs are also available in other shapes
like chili peppers. Would strung lights add color and personality
in the kitchen or in a den? Would an Asian lamp bring the right
flavor?
-
Do you want to
bring the energy down lower to balance the room with night lights
or candles on low window sills or low coffee tables?
-
Have you
considered adding natural light by adding a skylight, using a
mirror, a tube light or putting in a window?
Look at every
angle when determining your lighting. Be sure to take a full 360
degree look at both your room and your home (inside and out) when
you are deciding upon the best light. Be certain to focus on the
mood or ambiance you want to create as you consider the points
above.
Love & Light,
Kalyn
