The
Wisdom of Incomprehension
|
By:
Ashok Gollerkeri
Guest Writer

Can we be
uncomprehending, looking at the world like a young
child, curious, with a freshness, free of accumulated
notions? Can we look at everything anew every moment,
free from conditioning by notions, by received
instruction and the past? Can we allow the impressions
in our mind to evaporate so that we see every
situation and person afresh, without the barrier of
the past? Can we be completely free of the screen of
conditioning? Can we be childlike again? Can we be
enriched by the wisdom of incomprehension?
Actually, we know
too much. What we know are our own accumulated
notions, memories, fears and experiences. This makes
us unable to see reality, as it is, from moment to
moment, an ever changing, dynamic flux, creation
forever in the making. We have labels of good and bad,
we have labels of right and wrong, we have labels of
great and small. We have labels for everything. We see
through the lens of our own experience, of our own
likes and dislikes, our pride and prejudice, our
egoism and vanity, our fears and hopes. Through this
distorting medium, we see and observe. This distortion
is called our world and ourselves.. It is fragmented,
polarized and in conflict. Is the conflict in the
world merely an unfortunate state of affairs or is it
directly the
reflection of the conflict within ourselves, within
our own minds?
To me, it
seems that the fear, the conflict, the hatred, the
violence and the misery in the world is a direct
reflection of that within our own minds, in our
own consciousness. Our experience
of life is one of separateness, alienation, loneliness
and despair because it is based on fragmentation and
fear. This in turn is a vision of ourselves and the
world as seen through the distorting lens of our own
past, our memories and notions, our ideas and
ideologies, our faiths and dogmas. Seen through this
lens, the world represents mind boggling multiplicity
that is a potent cause for fear.
Obviously then, we
will live unburdened and free only if we can see
directly, both ourselves and the society we live in,
free from the burden of our own knowledge. We need, in
these times, more than ever, the wisdom of
incomprehension. We need now, more than ever, a return
to a childlike simplicity and joy. Can we remain
uncomprehending of notions of rich and poor, of high
and low, of beautiful and ugly, of great and small, of
intelligent and unintelligent? Can we remain free of
separative notions that divide man against man? Can we
be free from ideas and knowledge that create division
and conflict? Can we be free from the entire structure
of thought based on dichotomy, teacher and taught,
leader and follower, idea and reality? Can we see
beyond the divisions and differences between man and
man? Can we embrace the whole of humanity as one? Can
we embrace our oneness with nature? Can we see with
the simplicity and insight of unitive understanding?
An awareness of our uniqueness
is different from a divisive and separative outlook.
In the latter, there is judgment, there is superior
and inferior, there is looking up and looking down.
Superficially, we are different. Some of us are thin,
some fat, some black, some white, some rich, some
poor, some famous, some infamous - whatever be our
particular circumstances, our image, our appearance,
whatever be the name and form of our bodies, whatever
be the quality and content of our minds and
intellects, we are all, simply human. We are human
beings who walk on this planet for a brief while and
then die. In this brief journey, what is of the
ultimate significance, for each of us, is to recognize
our own essential oneness, our oneness with each other
and with mother earth and nature. Our bodies will
become fertilizer for plants and maybe food for
animals. Every one of us, the greatest and the
smallest will face the inevitable fact of death.
Should we not, then, celebrate our oneness? Should we
not rejoice at the essential oneness of creation?
Should we not celebrate the glory and grandeur, the
wonder, the majesty and splendor of creation? Should
we not marvel and acknowledge the vast forces that act
on this planet, keeping us all alive? Should we not
attempt to discover the infinite intelligence that
animates the whole of creation?
To wonder at all
these, to rediscover our imprisoned splendor as that
infinite intelligence and unbounded awareness
animating the whole creation, we will have to unlearn
our mountain of misconceptions, our accumulated
notions, our labels and tags, our categories of low
and high, great and small, rich and poor. In
discovering our own hidden potential, in reaching the
wisdom of comprehension, we shall become childlike
again, living in simplicity, spontaneity, joy,
contentment, unconditional love and an infinite
oneness with the whole of creation.

Abundance is an essence that exists in
infinite supply in the universe. Abundance can take on various forms such
as an abundance of love, money, happiness, joy, success, and so on.
Generally, we know what abundance is, but bringing abundance into our
daily life alludes many of us.
Manifesting Abundance is a recorded
process that will guide you to first access the unlimited essence of
abundance on the spiritual plan, and then enable you bring this energy
essence into the structured aspect of self.
Manifesting Abundance
uses the two spiritual laws, "as above so below," and "as
within so without." Many have heard of these laws but are not certain
how to put these laws into effect. To put the law into motion you must
first be able to access spiritual essences that exist in unlimited supply
on the levels beyond physicality. Then you must align the structured self
to this essence, bringing the essence fully into your inner world. When
your inner world is completely aligned to the essence, in this case
abundance, it must manifest in your outer world. It is the law..

On Femininity: A Course Just For Women |
|
 |
' My mom was feminine and loving and we secretly did
things secret behind my step fathers back because he was so
controlling. Anything he wanted done, she just did. My mom was so
weak and I promised myself I wouldn't be like that...'
I hear this type of comment all of the
time: women today understand that they are equal to men, yet they
continue to associate being feminine with being weak.
Women try hard to be strong and independent, and in the
process have unnecessarily cast their femininity aside, not
understanding that their very strength lies in their femininity.
|
|
On Femininity is a course to teach you to find
your true power in your feminine flow. This course is about
discovering how to work in a spiritual and universal flow which
comes naturally when we are true to our feminine nature.
The strongest women are those that use
the universal laws of gender. Women in their feminine flow are far
stronger, they accomplish things more quickly and efficiently and
they are more powerful in life.
Learn
how women in universal flow do things differently:
-
The way we approach spirituality
-
The way we create
-
Our fulfillment comes in different ways
-
How we spend our energy and time is different
-
Increase your ability to have positive impact on your life
-
Learn to be the spiritual female you are, not what society teaches

The
Many Facets of Feng Shui

Feng Shui- A Series on Feng Shui for Beginners
In this article I want to clarify our understanding of Feng
Shui and of what aspect of Feng Shui we are using when we
work on increasing the flow in our own homes.
Feng Shui has several facets which work together
to balance the energetic flow of an environment. Feng Shui
looks at any space from the inside out. This includes
looking at the effects of time and space, the energy of the
inhabitants, the energetic flow created by the directions,
the energy of the landscape and the energy of the furniture
in the home. In addition to this, Feng Shui has two sides to
it: an intuitive side and a scientific method. With so many
aspects to take into account, we can now see how a
professional consultation can be very involved and detailed.
Although Feng Shui is more complex than current popular
methods would have us believe, it does not mean that we can
not work on our own spaces. Throughout this series we are
looking at methods and techniques which use the artful or
intuitive side of Feng Shui. Although we are not addressing
the scientific side, which traditionally took years of
study, we can still make significant changes in our personal
spaces to improve the flow. Intuition is generally
undervalued by society, but its contribution often catches
things that would otherwise be missed. On the other hand, if
you hire a professional consultant, be sure that they have
the ability to address the various methods of Feng Shui. If
they are using only one or two methods or their intuition
alone, you could probably do a better job yourself!
Generally, Feng Shui consultants will begin by
looking at the landscape of a building as they approach the
environment they will be working with. Analyzing the
landscape is both an art and a science., which will be a
future article. Generally speaking, however, a landscape
study involves assessing how fertile the area is and what
kind of energy the landscape provides.
Indoors, the most important aspect that Feng
Shui considers is the study of the energy as it is and as it
is effected by time and space. Everything in life is always
changing and Feng Shui needs to address this. By time and
space we mean the energetic shifts that occur in our space
and that effect the inhabitants. The energetic changes are
assessed both scientifically and intuitively.
A strong consultant or a Feng Shui master will
be able to assess the environment by flying the stars, or
using ancient methods to assess changing energy. Just the
same, they will also be able to sense the flow and the
energy based on experience and intuitive skills.
Another primary focus is looking at individual
energies of the inhabitants. This is a very important step
for those residing or working in the space. It benefits them
greatly to know how best to utilize their space as it
pertains to their own energies.
Cures or enhancements are recommended to work
with the energies found using the stars and personal
energies. Cures always utilize the elements, as the
interplay of the elements is how the energies are shifted,
moved or enhanced.
Indoors
the consultant also assess the layout of furniture using
Form school principals and the Eight Trigrams. This is
secondary to the stars and to personal energies and is
supported by Form school and the Eight Trigrams changes.
These later two methods involve structured methods but also
rely on intuition as to how to increase the flow moving
furniture around as needed.
Our series on Feng Shui is providing us with
intuitive methods to create changes of our own homes or
offices into our own hands. Intuition is something we all
have, whether or not we have opened to our intuition. As
long as we can trust ourselves to begin to work with our
intuition about the energetic flow, then we can create some
of our own cures or enhancements as needed. Of course, the
more we practice being receptive to our own space, like our
homes, the easier it becomes to create beneficial energetic
shifts.
Love &
Light,
Kalyn
